10 Year Reunion-Weber High

 

 

My 10 year reunion was this weekend.  Am I seriously this old?  I was unable to attend due to the fact that I live 2,165 miles away from good old Weber High.  But, it didn't keep me from reflecting on everything that has happened in these past 10 years.  So here's a quick recap...

I've lived in:  Logan, UT (Cambridge Court apartments), Thousand Oaks, CA, Logan again (Kampus corner-my favorite!, Oakridge apartments-hated, Garden Court apartments while Ben and I were engaged we both lived here (different rooms obviously) but what were we thinking??!  Luckily I had good roommates that wouldn't let us be alone, after we were married we lived in a tiny apartment on 400 east in Logan, St. Robert, MO(while Ben was in training), Hope Mills, NC (Joyner Court) first duty station, and now our current home in Hope Mills.  For being Army we haven't moved as much as I thought we would going into this.  We are coming up on our 4 year anniversary here in North Carolina!  Crazy!

I've worked at/for:  Walmart (cashier/door greeter), Pier 49 Pizza (cook/driver), Ensign Toyota (driving cars), A law firm (where my uncle worked in Sherman Oaks, CA), Central Casting (on TV/movies as an extra) I was on;  Las Vegas, Hannah Montana, The Suite Life, Life is Ruff, Go Figure, NCIS, The Valley Of Light, Nancy Drew, Gilmore Girls, Scrubs, Revolution, Banshee, Desperate Houswives, 60 Minute Man, If I'd known I was a Genius, Blind Dating, The OC, Teachers, and that's all I can think right now.  Dominos pizza, Walmart bakery, PCCI plasma center, Self-photography, and It Works!

I got married to my amazing husband in 2008.

Had three beautiful children.

Had 2 fish (Charles and Gladys) while I was in college, had 1 cat (Bruce-had to go once we had Sadie), and 3 dogs (Taylor, Missy, Pip-Taylor lives with her grandparents)

Drove 4 different vehicles (Ford Explorer, Nissan Altima (totaled in car accident last year), Honda Accord (Ben's car), and my new Honda Pilot.

Endured 1 deployment.

Lost my Grandma Brown and Ben's Grandma Scott.

Been on 2 cruises.  One for our honeymoon (Mexico) and one to the Bahamas.

Lots of vacations and trips to the beach. 

Lots of new friends and staying in touch with old ones.

All in all these past 10 years have been awesome!  Better than I could have hoped for.  I'm excited to see what the next 10 bring.
