TUESDAY OCTOBER 24TH, 2017

Sunny again today! Even more clear than yesterday!
It's hard to enjoy it when you're in unbearable pain but it was better than having it be rainy too.
My face is still hurting to the point where I couldn't walk for a few minutes today. I got out of the car and had to just stop for a minute. It was awful! It's hurting right now. I hurts from my left temple all the way down my neck. AAARGHHHHH! The dentist didn't do anything so I don't want to go back there. I honestly think it could be my sinuses though. Boo. Boring. Sorry.

I went visiting teaching today at a woman named Leiah Gerling's house. I love chatting with her but her dog is a problem. She's a big beautiful Mastiff. She's a sweet dog but she tries to eat Kinley when we're there. Poor Kinley tried to run away from her but the dog thought it was a game and trampled her. She was terrified. My poor baby! I got some good cuddles out of it though so I won't complain too much. My visiting teaching companion is Nyree Fujii. She's an awesome lady. She brought me a yummy pumpkin bar so now she's my favorite. It doesn't take much to win my love!

After visiting teaching Kinley and I went to the Library for a new round of books. I have to say its one of my favorite things to do with her. I enjoy looking at book titles while she plays with puzzles or blocks or plays on the computer. I came home with a book called Into the Water by Paula Hawkins. I really liked Girl on the Train so I'm excited to start reading.

I was a little late going to the bus to get the kids but when I walked up my friend Christine had them and was talking to the bus driver. It turns out a couple of little monsters on the bus slapped Sadie across the face and spit in her eye. I was ready to cuss some kids out! DO NOT MESS WITH MY KIDS!! I found out later that one of them bit Tyson too. The bus driver was writing them up when I got there. I was thankful that Christine had their backs too.

At gymnastics Tyson and Vaughn (Tyson's best best best best best best best ect...friend) were running around like crazy and then in the middle of Ty's lesson he came crying to me and said he didn't feel well. Ben took him home and he threw up. Poor guy. Also, when Ben got to the gym Kinley yelled "Dad! Whoo Hoo!" I think it was her way of either whistling or cheering for him. Either way it was adorable.

OCTOBER 23RD, 2017

SUNSHINE!

It was still cold but the sky was blue and it didn't rain at all

I had my first LASIK appointment today.
It helped a lot and now I'm not as nervous. A lot of people are super happy with their results so that puts my mind at ease.

Kinley and I just kind of lounged the rest of the day. We should have been outside enjoying the sun but we got in the habit of being lazy bums. I actually snuck in a little nap too.

The video of us hanging out posted to the top which is annoying but it won't move so it is what it is.

Kinley and I played at the park while the kids had soccer practice. When we got home I took Missy on a walk and ran into a 2 point buck! He was in attack mode so we slowly backed away so I could get some pictures (yes I'm that idiot)
It was too dark to really see him in the pictures but he was there!

OCTOBER 21ST AND 22ND, 2017

Yesterday was incredible busy. So busy in fact that I forgot to write! Ben took his test yesterday so instead of studying we actually got a chance to hang out. So instead of updating my journal we watched Saw together instead. I used to think that movie was SO BAD. But now watching it 10 years later now I realize that it's just the acting that is SO BAD!

Anyways, I'm getting ahead of myself. Yesterday was raining (no surprise there going on day 6 I think). In Washington the only thing that cancels soccer games is lightning (or else they would literally happen) so we spent all day in the rain for Tyson's game at 10 and Sadie's game at 12. We just stayed and played at the park in between. 

 Tyson's team actually scored some points! The opposing team probably thought we were crazy because we were cheering SO LOUD but after 3 or 4 games of zero points we were all happy to see some progress. I'm looking forward to next year when they get a little better. Tyson played really well. He was super aggressive. I love that! 

 Sadie's team didn't score any. It was raining super hard by then. Neither team played very well. Sadie did fine she was aggressive as well and had a few break aways but couldn't maintain her speed. We'll have to work on both of their endurance. I made Tyson and Kinley stay in the car and watch Moana. They were so cold. But when the game got over and I finally got back to the car Tyson was sobbing because he had to pee. Poor kid ended up having an accident which was totally my fault. I felt so bad! Poor little guy. 

 After the games were done we went to McDonalds for lunch. We ate in the parking lot because I didn't want to have to walk through the rain. After that we did a Walmart trip and bought pumpkins. We had a little scare because I couldn't find my keys! It was pouring and we were in the parking lot looking for them. Kinley didn't have a coat or shoes (her rain boots kept falling off so I put them in the cart) so I'm sure I looked like a horrible mom. I ran back inside to get out of the rain and found them in the pouch of my sweatshirt (inside of my raincoat) thank goodness for answered prayers! 

We have a family tradition of carving pumpkins every year so that's what we did tonight. I felt bad doing it while Ben was gone (taking his test in Seattle) but I needed to survive the night somehow! We watched Penelope which is not really appropriate for kids. Oops!

SUNDAY OCTOBER 22ND, 2017

We got a new bishop today (Bishop Lowry) I've never met him before but I never met the old bishop either so I guess it doesn't matter. We had friends over for dinner. (The Jackson's) It was fun! Tyson's best friends with their son Vaughn and Sadie's best friends with Mallory so they have a lot of fun with them. OCTOBER 20TH, 2017

Ah rain again...

Kinley and I went to the gym and Walmart. 

I did a tough back work out and smelled horrible for our shopping trip to Walmart. Sorry fellow shoppers!

Sadie went home on the bus with her friend Leah and she was gone all day. I missed her so much! I couldn't wait for her to get home.

 Ben had a bad day today. He got hit in the parking lot at work. 

 After dinner we caught just a little bit of sunlight which made my day! We were able to go on a tiny bike ride.

 It was just nice to get out of the house for a little bit. 

Sadie didn't get home until 8:30 but she had a BLAST! They took her to a fall festival thing. She got glitter tattoos, dressed up, danced, and watched The Great Pumpkin (Charlie Brown). She couldn't stop talking about all the stuff she did. 

We really did miss her. 

Our family isn't complete without that girl. 

OCTOBER 19TH, 2017

Another gloomy day...

I made an appointment for an emergency dentist visit because of the pain in my face. 

When I got there I didn't feel like they listened to me at all. I told them that the pain was heat and cold sensitive but all they did was adjust my bite. We'll see if it helps! Fingers crossed. 

When the kids got home from school we did a LOT of origami, paper snow flakes, and Tyson baked some banana bread. He did it all by himself I just read him the recipe. I was super proud of him!

I had an art class tonight. A friend from church is a great artist so she is teaching a couple of us how to do watercolor. 

This was my first attempt. I really like it! It's super relaxing. 

I'm not finished yet but hopefully I can get it done.
