SUNDAY NOVEMBER 5TH 2017

SNOW! The primary kids were INSANE today. They're all still hopped up on sugar. They were all bouncing off the walls! When they were released from sharing time they all as a large group turned the corner and upon seeing the snow falling rushed the field and lost their dang minds. They ALL ran outside! They were so excited.

They gave them glow sticks as a prize for doing well and so we had our lesson in the dark. I used my flashlight on my phone to tell them stories and talk to them about the importance of making people happy to be at church. I loved it! It was super fun!

After church we went over to the Spencer's house for dinner. It was way fun. They just BBQ some burgers and hot dogs. Jenna Douglas and her family came and also Annie bishop and her kids. It was good company.

We came home and face timed with my parents. My kids show off so bad when the camera comes on. It's obnoxious.

SADIE'S 8TH BIRTHDAY!

NOVEMBER 4TH, 2017
What a day!! Man it was FREEZING today! So cold. I asked Kinley if she had to go potty when we arrived at Tyson's soccer game and she said no. 10 minutes into the freaking game and she's peed all the way down to her shoes. SO NASTY! and she refused to wear her coat. People thought I was beating her she was screaming so loud trying to put her coat on. Grrr.... We ran over to McDonald's to grab some lunch. While they were eating I ran into the Dollar Store to get her some new pants (they didn't have any) but I ran into Sadie's coach and she had some pants in her car (prayers answered!) Tyson's team KILLED in today's game! They won by 8 points which is pretty great because they didn't score any points for 80% of their games. I'm sad Ben missed it. Tyson assisted in most of the goals so I'm super proud of him.

We went to Sadie's game. She played goalie the first half and did amazing! She played offense and did ok but we need to work on her running. I'm not quite sure how to help her. I'll start running with her and Ty once Ben gets back. She's super aggressive though which is good. One girl on the other team was a huge jerk. She was pushing everyone. I saw Sadie run over and BOOM! shoved her back. It's probably wrong to be so proud of her but I am.

I can't believe she's 8!! She's the best. I took the time tonight to tell her how amazing I think she is. Kind, funny, goofy, brave, beautiful inside and out and I'm so so proud of who she is. I don't know how I got so lucky. I could tell it meant a lot to her.

When we got home she played with her new microscope that she opened before soccer. We watched Casper and then her friends Leah and Mallory came over for a late over. Mallory was a jerk. She made fun of Leah's present and refused to watch the movie that Sadie picked. They ended up watching Penelope and then the Smurf's Lost village. Vaughn came over so that Tyson would have someone to play with. Ben called this morning to wish Sadie a Happy Birthday, my parents called to sing to her, Ben's parents called, and Stephney called. So many people love this Sadie girl. She's special.

NOVEMBER 3RD, 2017

This morning was super hard to wake up. I stayed up until well after 2am last night trying to update the blog. When Ben's here it's hard because we want to hang out. Obviously the "work" I do isn't essential but it's important to me. I wish I had a laptop to work on, then we could hang out AND I could work. It started SNOWING today! More like slushing really but DANG it was cold. Kinley and I went to Hobby Lobby for some Thanksgiving decorations since I have none. She begged me for a metal turkey so I got it and I'm glad I did! It looks good! We also got some little fake pumpkins, a pilgrim couple, and a Native American couple. I also, got a table runner and a cute sign. It was fun walking around the store with Kinley. I found a book that is perfect for Tyson so I got it for him. He's obsessed with quarters. It's a quarter collection book.
After that we rushed to Walmart trying to get the shopping done before it was time to volunteer at Tyson's class. We would have been on time but there was an accident on I-5 and the traffic was bad. 

When we got to the school I helped Tyson's class with computers. Helping 25 kids try to learn (and take a test on) computers is ridiculous! I'm glad there were lots of us to help! After that I corrected some papers in Sadie's class and then I went back to Tyson's class to copy papers. 

Sadie's friend Katherine came over after school to play and I decorated the house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was a super chill night. We had pancakes for dinner and then I let the kids watch Goosebumps for the 1,000th time. It's Tyson's favorite. He also LOVES the Smurf's Lost Village we alternate between the 2 movies and it gets really old! 

NOVEMBER 2ND, 2017

Is it weird that I can't remember anything about this day even though it was just yesterday?! Yikes! I know I stayed up way too late. Ben left today so I'm catching up on all of my work. I really miss him when he's gone! It's not letting me post anymore pictures for some reason. Kind of a bummer. Oh well I still want to post these little journal updates. even if I can't remember anything!

NOVEMBER 1ST, 2017

Today we celebrated Sadie's birthday together since Ben leaves tomorrow and won't be back for a few weeks. We got her a new bike, makeup, and a coloring book. Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese per her request. I can't believe she's 8 already. She's such a great girl. Everyone who knows her loves her. She's special, she's kind, super smart, and beautiful. I love her more than she'll ever know. We had a lot of fun at Chuck E Cheese. We ate pizza and played games and when our points were done we went home for "cake" (Reeses brownies) Ben and I painted rocks together while we watched TV. It was fun!

OCTOBER 31ST, 2017-HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

It was a really fun day today! The kids got to wear their costumes to school. Sadie didn't want to wear the wig. (She was Misty from Pokemon) Which is totally fine because she looked cuter without it. Tyson was adorable as Pikachu and he was comfy and warm.

The school did a fun parade for the kids. They got to walk up and down the street with the parents watching. It was really fun! Tyson was totally embarrassed of course but Sadie loved it. Even Kinley joined in on the fun! 

After the parade Sadie's class had a party that Kinley and I were able to help with. They ate good food and listened to Halloween stories. Then they got wrapped up like mummies. It was really cute. After the class party we got Tyson out of class too and then we went downtown to do the business trick or treating. The kids loved it! Sadie was really worried that we wouldn't do night trick or treating. 

After we got home we got ready and then went out

We started too early no one was home from work yet. One of the houses we went to Kinley just walked right in. It was super funny. We met up with some friends to trick or treat with which made it more fun. They got a TON of candy. It was fun coming home and listening to Ben scare people outside. There were a lot of screams! So funny. I sat upstairs and watched people from the window for a while. The teenagers got the most scared. 

OCTOBER 30TH 2017

The pictures aren't great but it was a beautiful night. Tyson looked so cute playing with his little buddies during soccer practice. I'm glad he doesn't have brothers though because they are so crude when they all get together! Talking about butts and farts and all that. Ben got to come with us to practice since his bosses are gone. He actually got home at a decent time. It was great!
